Some movies...

Saw quite a few movies recently... in an abbreviated nutshell:

Star Trek- excellent! Fantasatic casting (especially Simon Pegg and Zachary Quinto) and enjoyable back-history. Let's hope this is a new beginning for a desrving franchise.

I Love You Man- excellent! Paul Rudd playing the straight man to Jason Segal in a very funny movie.

Drag Me To Hell- very good. Cheesy cheap-shock horror flick that only Sam Raimi can make.
I am not a big horror fan but this one was fun.

The Hangover- very good! My kind of immature comedy with a clever plot-line. Plenty of good laughts.

Role Models- very good. Caught this older movie On Demand. Another comedy with some entertaining moments.

Went up to Victoria last weekend. Watched the Victoria Day parade for like four hours, tooled around in little water taxis and ate at a restaurant that had a shoe tree in the patio and stuffed blackbirds in nests on all the tables.

My kind of place.

Idol What?!?!?!?

Kris actually won this season's American Idol?

Give me a break... looks like school girl crushes overwhelmed the phone lines.

Adam is the BEST contestant ever on AI and his career will skyrocket as fast as Kris' falls off the face of the Earth.

What do you expect from me?

Seriously... what?

Maybe I can offer up a litany of filibustering observations, costumed restaurant reviews and movie discussions? Or better yet: illiterate attempts at short stories and amateurist poetry?
